In brief

Live edge shelves, hand turned solid timber uprights and blackened steel fixing pins. This shelving system is completely held together by the blackened steel metal pins located in the top and bottom of each shelf. The holes in each shelf follow the tapered profiles of the uprights, which are constructed by separating rectangular lengths of oak which have been hand turned on a lathe to make a spherical profile that transitions seamlessly from round to rectangular. The divide is then inlayed with steel to add to both the rigidity and aesthetics.
